Ashley Krieger sharing her artwork with the world
Today's topic is one that takes bravery. This is why I shared this picture of a brave kids happily sharing her artwork. It seems to get harder to share the older we get. Maybe because we have expectations of what our art should look like and we are more afraid of what people will think.

Does it ever scare you to share your artwork? I have asked my audience to share there artwork before and I will get just a few brave souls. So it must not be easy for many people.

This lesson is going to help you with this and get you sharing. This is my hope anyway because to become a better artist, you have to be willing to share your work.

So let's cover some essential things to understand about your artwork.

1. You are unique so your artwork will be too. Some people will tell you what your artwork SHOULD look like, but it is wrong of them. It is your creation not theirs.

2. If you want feedback, ask for it BUT follow with what you want your art to look like. As you try to work on your skills sometimes you want to know what needs fixed and that is alright, but without an idea of what you were going for, you will just get a vast variety of opinions instead of constructive feedback.

3. Share without expectations. For example, I've always worked hard on my art and videos but in the beginning I wasn't really good at it. The more I do it, the better I get. So at first I hardly had any views or likes. That is okay. I shared anyway and I will keep sharing. Nothing is perfect but perfectly not perfect. We are all on our own journey of progression. So don't set perfect as the only way you will share something because that just holds you back.

Alright so now that we have this sharing thing covered. You can share your artwork on Instagram with me with #createfulart

Share away! Ask for feedback if you want it! That is my challenge to you this week.

Take Care my Friends,
