How Commissions work:
Step 1: Decide what you want me to paint. It is important for me to paint something that you will love forever. I will do all that I can as an artist to make something special for you.
Step 2: Decide the size. The size you choose determines the costs. I charge $2.25 - $2.60 / sq. inch. This will give you a rough idea what the cost will be. Once I know what it is you want me to paint, I will give you your exact final cost.
Step 3: Sign contract. For both of our protection, I write up a contract with the specifics that will go into the painting I make for you. This will include what I paint on, size, medium, style, subject matter, cost and day to be completed that we have discussed. I also include quotes from you, so that any specifics you want are clearly stated. After the contract is made, we both sign it.
Step 4: Paying 1/2 of final cost upfront. As customary for most commissions, half the cost is required upfront. This helps me as the artist get the required supplies for your painting and cover the time required to complete the project.
Step 5: Receiving your artwork. Upon completion, I share the finished artwork with you. At this time you approve the artwork or you can ask for small changes. Before the artwork is delivered the other 1/2 of the cost of the commissioned painting is required. Your artwork is shipped to you FREE of charge in the U.S., no additional costs are required.

- Photo references are always helpful but not necessary. I don't paint the picture exactly as it is in any photographs but use them to capture a scene.
- Style If you are looking for a specific style, let me know, however the final look will be at my artistic discretion.
- Murals I will paint murals when possible (if travel is required, you must cover those expenses.)
- Not Sure I have experience with design and can help you if you don't know what you want, but have a specific place you want an art piece to go. I understand that not all people can picture what it is they want and if this is you, take a picture of the place you will be putting the painting and we will work together to paint something that fits perfectly.
