How to Paint Birch Trees with Watercolors

It's a fall day outside and all those tree colors are creating an art itch that I'll have to scratch with some watercolor paints. There is a free flowing way I love to paint that will have me relaxed in no time. I would love to share with you all the steps I take to paint these birch trees in watercolor. The video tutorial below will help you create your very own birch tree painting. I hope you enjoy!

Step 1: You'll need to grab yourself some supplies. This painting uses very simple supplies, paper, watercolor paints, brushes, and water. If you want to see the supplies I use, there is a list of watercolor supplies here.

Step 2: Take a jaunt outside to get inspired by the trees around you. I took a picture and then used it as a reference photo for my painting. Whatever you choose to do, make it simple for yourself. Now your ready to watch the painting tutorial I made for you below.
