What better way to celebrate spring than with this DIY painting of my favorite flower, lilacs. Even beginners can tackle this project. All it takes is a few flower outlines, some scribbling, blotching, splattering and of course having fun. Learn how to paint these easy lilacs with watercolors below with the video art tutorial and I will walk you through this fun art project. Lilacs can be a bush or a tree that bloom flowers in the spring. Some are pink, blue, white and purple. You can choose whatever colors you want for this painting. In other words I am not going to give you the precise colors I used because I want you to be creative with your colors. Painting lilacs can be very easy depending on how detailed you want to get. In this tutorial I show you how to get the impression of lilacs and have fun painting in a very free flowing way. You can paint this on a card if you wish.
