How To Use Pebeo Mixed Media on Glass

3/3/2016

I had some fun at the art store and picked up some Pebeo Paints. Have you ever heard of them? The most famous Pebeo paints are Moon Fantasy, Prisme Fantasy, Vitrail, and Ceramic.  I could not decide, I probably stared at them for a half an hour. Finally I told myself, what the heck, get the Discovery Mixed Media Set, and try them all. So that is what I did!

Then they sat at my house for a while waiting on a project. Until I came up with this idea to try use them making a stained glassed art piece without needing all the glass and supplies that come with actually cutting and staining glass. So I tried out my Pepeo paints on glass. This was completely experimental.

There was things I loved about this project, and some things I would change. Come find out and watch the video!

I LOVE, LOVE how your painting turned out!! I painted a couple deer on glass with acrylic MANY years ago & it was HARD to do because my art teacher told me I had to paint the background first. It was like painting everything backwards. YOUR poppies are reminiscent of the masters so I'm IMPRESSED!
