Story: This is the 18th state on my traveling and painting journey around the U.S. While we were in New Jersey we went to Wildwood Beach. The beach there is lined with Doo Wop motels, neon signs, and condos. I can imagine this beach is full of people for miles in the summer. However, we came in the offseason, lucky for us. Most everything was closed and we shared the beach with just a few people. What makes this even better, if you can get better than that, is that we had perfect weather. We swam in the ocean, played in the waves, enjoyed the soft sand and took naps while we tanned. It was very relaxing. Coming in the offseason also made it easy for me to paint right there on the beach and make a video for my Youtube channel. As much as I love people, I think visiting places in the offseason is the way to go.
